Your journey begins with an early breakfast, followed by a drive to Midelt through the Middle Atlas region. En route, you'll visit Ifrane, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Morocco," known for its unique architecture. The next stop is Azrou, famous for its Berber city and the opportunity to observe Barbary monkeys in the Cedar Forest.
Continuing your drive through the Middle Atlas, you'll reach Midelt, where you'll spend the night at a hotel.
After breakfast, the journey takes you through the Ziz Valley and its magnificent gorges, leading to Erfoud, the fossil capital of Morocco. Next, you'll head to Merzouga, a desert town situated on the edge of the Sahara. The day offers time for relaxation and immersion in the desert atmosphere. You'll stay at a hotel near the dunes.
Your third day is dedicated to exploring the desert. You'll embark on a 4x4 tour of the dunes, visiting desert villages along the way, including Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music. As the day unfolds, you'll have the opportunity to interact with desert nomads and gain insight into their unique way of life.
In the afternoon, you'll set out on a camel trek to reach a Berber desert camp nestled in the heart of the dunes. Here, you'll dine under the starlit desert sky and spend the night in traditional Berber tents.
Start your day early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise, followed by a camel ride back to the hotel. After breakfast and a refreshing shower, you'll set off for the Toudra Gorges via Rissani. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to explore Rissani's traditional souk, one of the largest in southern Morocco.
In the evening, you'll reach the Toudra Gorges, where you'll spend the night at a hotel.
After breakfast, you'll explore the Todra Gorges and take a leisurely walk in this captivating natural wonder. The journey continues to the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses (Kalaat M'Gouna), renowned for its annual Rose Festival.
Your route takes you to Ouarzazate, where you'll visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Cinema Museum, as well as the renowned Film Studios. You'll spend the night in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
Your final day of exploration begins with a visit to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a location used in various films, including "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones."
Continuing your journey, you'll traverse the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N'tichka Pass, offering spectacular views and glimpses of Berber villages. You have the option to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant along the pass or proceed directly to Marrakech.
Upon arrival in Marrakech, you'll be accommodated in a riad to conclude your journey.
