Your tour begins as you leave Tangier, crossing the beautiful Rif Mountains. Along the way, you'll stop at Chefchaouen, known as the "Blue City," famous for its blue-painted buildings nestled in the Rif Mountains. Explore its charming medina and enjoy lunch at one of the rooftop restaurants. Afterward, continue your journey to Fez, where you'll spend the night in a riad.
After breakfast in Fez, you'll head south towards the Middle Atlas region, passing through the cedar forests of Ifrane and Azrou. You may even encounter Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. As you continue, you'll witness the impressive Ziz Gorge and its palm groves, offering a transition from lush landscapes to the desert. The journey will take you through towns like Midelt and Erfoud until you reach the Sahara Desert town of Merzouga. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy a refreshing mint tea, and then embark on a camel ride to reach a Berber camp nestled in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Spend the night in a desert camp, sleeping in Berber tents under the starlit sky.
Rise early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara Desert before returning to your hotel in Merzouga on camelback. After breakfast and a shower, your journey continues to the Todra Gorges, where you can take a short walk to explore the stunning natural beauty. Later, you'll proceed to the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and the "Thousand Kasbahs." Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the Dades Valley.
After breakfast, depart from the Dades Valley toward Ouarzazate, often referred to as the "Hollywood of Africa." Along the way, you'll pass through the Rose Valley and the village of Skoura, where you can admire the beautiful kasbahs and rose gardens. Continue to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll explore the historic site. Afterward, journey over the majestic Tizi Ntichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, reaching an altitude of 2260 meters. Enjoy stunning panoramic views and visit an argan oil cooperative. Your tour concludes in Marrakech in the afternoon.
