Your tour begins upon your arrival at the port of Tangier. You'll embark on a city tour of Tangier before departing for the enchanting fortified town of Chefchaouen. Chefchaouen is famous for its distinctive blue-painted buildings and is one of the most beautiful cities in northern Morocco. You'll spend the night in Chefchaouen.
After your breakfast in Chefchaouen, you'll continue your journey towards Fez, one of Morocco's oldest imperial cities. En route, you'll pass through picturesque regions such as Ifran and the vast cedar forests as you make your way to Midelt, where you'll spend the night.
Today, you'll cross the northern Atlas Mountains and travel along the scenic Ziz River Valley. Along the way, you'll have numerous opportunities to enjoy breathtaking landscapes, including mountains, valleys, river vistas, and Ziz stream. Your journey will take you through the city of Er Rachidia to the eastern edge of the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. You'll spend the night at a hotel with the great dunes of Erg Chebbi right at its doorstep, providing you the chance to explore the smaller dunes nearby.
After breakfast and a refreshing shower at the hotel, you'll embark on a tour around Erg Chebbi's sand dunes. You'll visit a traditional Berber house and enjoy some Gnawa music, originating from Ghana and Sudan. Explore abandoned mines, meet nomadic Berbers, and visit palm tree oases. In the afternoon, return to Merzouga for lunch and relaxation. Later, you'll head to meet the camels, which will take you on a magical adventure through the sand dunes. Spend the night in a desert camp, equipped with traditional drum music. Capture the beauty of the sunset and sunrise, and enjoy stargazing in the Sahara. You'll sleep in nomad tents.
Awaken at sunrise over the Sahara Desert, return to the hotel on camelback, and have breakfast. Start your journey back, and in the evening, you'll reach Fez, where you can explore the city after a long desert excursion.
After breakfast, depart for Tangier and transfer to your hotel or the Tangier port, concluding your remarkable journey.
