Your journey begins with a pick-up at 8:00 AM in Marrakech, followed by a drive to Ouarzazate via the Tizi 'n' Tichka pass, situated at 2260 meters above the High Atlas. Along the way, you'll admire the stunning landscapes and picturesque Berber villages. The first stop is at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage historical site, famous for its use as a backdrop in more than 20 films. After touring the Kasbah, enjoy lunch on-site before continuing to the Dades Valley via Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa." Follow the road of a thousand kasbahs before stopping at Kalaat Mgouna for the night.
After breakfast at the riad, journey through the valley to witness the unique rock formation known as "monkey toes." Then, proceed to Tinghir and the Todra valley, offering panoramic views of ancient Berber mud villages perched atop the valley. Arriving at the Todra Gorges, take a walk beneath the towering red cliffs, which reach heights of 300 meters and are popular among mountaineers. Continue to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch and then head to Merzouga village, where your camel awaits. Embark on a camel trek into the mysterious sandy sea of Erg Chebbi, guided by an experienced guide. After an hour and a half, arrive at Morocco's highest sand dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset. Then, reach our Berber nomad tents for dinner, a campfire, drum festival, and a night under the desert sky.
Your camel will wake you up at sunrise, and you'll embark on a camel ride back to Merzouga village, enjoying the ever-changing beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes as the light shifts throughout the morning. After breakfast and a refreshing shower at the guest house, we'll drive to Midelt. We'll pause at Zaida for a barbecue and a glass of mint tea before continuing to Azrou, a Berber village nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Here, you can spot Barbary Monkeys in the cedar forest. Proceed to Ifrane, known as the "French village" or "Moroccan Switzerland," where you can capture photographs or enjoy a drink. Finally, arrive at your accommodation in Fez.
Spend your morning exploring the ancient city of Fez, visiting its main attractions. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a medina restaurant before heading north. After a few hours of travel, you'll arrive in Chefchaouen, where your tour concludes.
